Dr. Lynette Dornton

Dr. Lynette Dornton is the latest addition to the HearCare Audiology team. She earned both her bachelor’s degree and doctorate degree from the University of South Florida with high honors. She is also a fellow of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and the Florida Academy of Audiology.

With over a decade of experience, Dr. Lynette Dornton joined the audiology team in 2023, bringing with her a passion for the diagnostic assessment and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus, and hyperacusis. With a background in auditory research, Dr. Dornton strives to provide patients with the highest quality of care through strong adherence to evidenced based practice. She enjoys teaching and supervising doctoral externs, clinical research, and public speaking.

I love the winter (Florida winter!)

GO BLUE!

I love carbs! Especially pasta or anything with potatoes.

Anything cute, soft and fluffy!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I have a few bucket list travels; the next will definitely be the Giant Redwoods (portions of Star Wars were filmed there!)

The office is spotless and inviting. Beth, the receptionist was very kind and thoughtful. Dr. Doe ton was outstanding. She helped me understand all of the tests she would be doing as well as getting to know and understand my concerns. I would recommend this office highly. I also was concerned about the costs of hearing aids and they offered me information on how I can receive financial help.
