Meet Carolyn Wheel – Patient Care Coordinator
Carolyn Wheel has been with HearCare Audiology going on a year now, where she is currently the Patient Care Coordinator in our Venice office. A native of South Burlington, VT, she started her career as a licensed insurance agent for 13 years. During that time, she married and raised three beautiful girls in rural Fairfax, VT where she enjoyed a mini-farm, full with horses and chickens. Carolyn and her husband moved to Florida 5 ½ years ago to help take care of her parents and decided to stay.
Carolyn has been involved in customer service for most of her life. Prior to coming to HearCare she worked in orthotics and prosthetics. She is glad to have entered the audiology field where she enjoys working with patients and being a part of the team that helps people regain their hearing.
Outside of the clinic, Carolyn enjoys making homemade jams and pickles. Carolyn also enjoys spending time with family and her dogs, Cuda and Otis, participating in community events and taking her mom to bingo at Heartis Senior Living, where her mom and dad reside.
