Dr. Mary O. Thorpe
Board Certified in Audiology
Dr. Mary O. Thorpe completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She then received her Masters degree in Audiology at the University of Kansas. After practicing Audiology for 25 years, Dr. Thorpe completed her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. She is currently Board Certified in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology as well as the Florida Academy of Audiology.
As an audiologist in the Kansas City area, Dr. Thorpe practiced in various settings including, hospitals, health maintenance organizations, and Ear, Nose and Throat practices. Dr. Thorpe gained a wide range of experience in diagnostics, including audiologic, balance testing, and hearing aid fittings. She has experience with all age groups coming from this diverse background.
Dr. Thorpe, along with her family moved to Sarasota in 1987. She has worked in private practice in Sarasota for the past 25 years. Dr. Thorpe has provided hearing healthcare to many patients in the Sarasota community and has acquired an excellent reputation as a caring, compassionate provider. Her commitment to providing appropriate solutions has resulted in many satisfied patients. In order to maintain her board certification and to better serve her patients, Dr. Thorpe advances her studies in hearing science by attending educational seminars yearly.
Dr. Thorpe and her husband Jim have been married for 40 years and have four beautiful grandchildren:

Dr. Jeff Olson
Doctor of Audiology / Vice President
Nova Southeastern University.
Member of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Olson has been with the HearCare Audiology team since December 2007 starting out as a Hearing Aid Assistant and Practice Development Representative. Several years ago, Jeffrey graduated from Nova Southeastern University to become an Audiologist.
Jeffrey received his Florida Hearing Instrument Specialist License in August of 2008 and has been performing hearing screenings, prescribing, and fitting hearing devices since. Now a Doctor of Audiology and an authorized Lyric Hearing Aid provider, Jeff almost exclusively fits this unique Extended Wear device. Although Dr. Olson was born and raised in Sarasota, his mother is from Austrian descent therefore, he is fluent in the German language and has traveled extensively throughout Europe.
Jeffrey received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from the University of North Florida. He earned an International degree in the German Language from the University of Innsbruck, Austria. He is a member of the International Hearing Society and the Florida Society of Hearing Healthcare Professionals. Born and raised in Sarasota, Jeffrey has grown up with a love for the water including sailing and surfing. He enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and beautiful daughters.

Dr. Jenilee Pulido
Board Certified in Audiology
Dr. Jenilee Pulido is excited to be a part of the HearCare staff. Dr. Pulido completed her undergraduate degree in Communication, Sciences and Disorders at the University of Florida, and upon completion she then continued on at the University of Florida to receive her Doctorate in Audiology. Dr. Pulido is currently a fellow member of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Pulido was born in Baltimore, but has lived in Florida for most of her life. In college, Dr. Pulido was an active member of the Filipino Student Association where she taught cultural dances to students. This organization is where she met her husband, Raymond. Dr. Pulido and her husband have one daughter and a son on the way, due January 2019! In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies and hanging out with family and friends.

Dr. Sarah Lundstrom
Board Certified in Audiology
Dr. Sarah Lundstrom completed her undergraduate degree in Biology from Central Michigan University, and upon completion continued to the University of Akron to receive her Doctorate in Audiology. While in school, Dr. Lundstrom was an active member of the Student Academy of Audiology and served on the national board as the Advocacy chairman and the PAC and GRC committee liaison. Dr. Lundstrom is currently a fellow member of the American Academy of Audiology, The Florida Academy of Audiology, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology.
Dr. Lundstrom was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan where her family still resides. She lived in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio while attending the University of Akron where she met her husband, Andrew. She and her husband moved to Florida after graduation in order to enjoy the sun and the sand. Andrew is currently a high school science teacher at Booker High School in Sarasota. They recently had their first child. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, their two dogs, and going to the beach.
Dr. Lundstrom is the primary Audiologist in the Venice location and is happy to be a part of the HearCare family.
